The Brisbane celebrations focused on Mary MacKillop, the Archdiocesan Patron, and a marvellous woman of faith whose prayer and closeness to God impelled her into action for the poor and suffering of this nation. The theme of  following Mary MacKillop's example, trusting in God’s love and seeking God’s purpose for our lives ran through the celebrations.
